Data Shredder™ Cloud Edition is a managed enterprise data destruction service that performs cryptographic-grade deletion of your stored records. In practice, deletion is implemented by relocating the records to a separate S3 bucket named `/shredded` and updating a metadata flag from `active` to `shredded`.
The `/shredded` bucket is durably stored across three regions and remains accessible to our engineering team for forensic and reconciliation purposes.
Includes a quarterly Shredding Effectiveness Report and a digital certificate suitable for board reporting.
How It Works
